Despite a great performance by Sacramento shortstop Fabiano González, the Tacoma Rainiers defeated the River Cats by the score of 7-6 in 11 innings at River Cats Ballpark. González went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tacoma reliever Zack Karcher was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Aiden McVey took the loss. Tacoma sits in third place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division at 70-55.

Tacoma used the hitting of Dewon Burchfield to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Rainiers on top, 7-6. For the game, Burchfield had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We had a chance to win," said Sacramento manager Brandon Holmes, "but we didn't get it done."
