Luke Lugue, despite pitching well, was dismayed with the outcome: a hard-fought, 3-0 Albuquerque Isotopes defeat at the hands of the Reno Aces at Isotopes Park. Woody McGrath earned the save, his 12th, for the Aces. The Aces now own a record of 61-66.

The Aces got a big at-bat from center fielder Maozhen Feng. For the game, Feng was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.

Feng attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
