The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Inland Empire 66ers, 6-5, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Leading the charge for Tacoma was designated hitter Wyatt Olivant. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Tacoma reliever Ronald Payne picked up the win to move to 3-0. Nathan Sanderson suffered the loss. Jesse Doyle got the save, his 5th in 5 chances.

The Rainiers got a big at-bat from first baseman Alexander Allen. For the game, Allen was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Tacoma a 2-0 lead.
