The Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Evansville Triplets, 3-0, at BB&T Stadium. Omaha was led by 30-year old right fielder Vic Berumen, who was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. At 59-69, the Storm Chasers claim 5th place in the Pacific Coast League American Divison.
R.J. Medina had a direct impact on the outcome. Medina contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Omaha up, 2-0.
Omaha manager Gary Tucker commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
