Houston Beats Indianapolis, 3-1
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Houston Astros and the Indianapolis Ignition. Houston won it, 3-1. Houston starter Timothy Hullett was in command. Ethan D'Ornellas earned the save for Houston, his 6th. The win makes Houston 24-34.
Justin Fogarty went 1 for 3. He drove in 2 runs for Houston. The 29-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Logan Benedict. It was his 17th RBI of the season.
Said Indianapolis manager Jay Duren: "We weren't able to do much."
