Samuel Allen was terrific for the Atlanta Braves in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Colorado Rockies. His performance earned Allen rave reviews. Allen, the winner, moves to 3-4. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. With the win, Atlanta has a record of 29-27. Colorado falls to 35-21.

Making an impact for Atlanta was right fielder Pan Siena. He drilled a double off Ross Allen in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Siena went 2 for 4 with a double.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Allen after the game.
