The Kissimmee Kumquats cruised to a win over the Miramar Sun Dogs, 12-1, at Bright House Field. Bick Mullens led the way, going 2-for-3 for Kissimmee. Now 6-49, Miramar has lost 15 in a row.

In the bottom of the 2nd, Kissimmee took the lead on a 2-run single by Blake Dunaway. At the time, the Kumquats were trailing 1-0, but Dunaway's hit with two outs against Miramar pitcher Marcelo Gamez put them in front, 2-1.

"We're in a funk right now," said Miramar skipper Gabriël de Koning.
