Big Day for Cyclopes in 8-1 Sounds Win
|
Nashville second baseman Enrico Cyclopes was instrumental in helping the Sounds triumph, 8-1, over the El Paso Chihuahuas. Cyclopes went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Nashville pitcher Landen Fitzgerald got the win, upping his record to 5-4. Elijah Beckham got the loss. Nashville is 60-60 and El Paso, with the loss, 56-64.
Paul Cross chipped in a 2-run home run for Nashville in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
