The Omaha Storm Chasers did just enough to sneak past the Evansville Triplets, 3-2, at BB&T Stadium. Omaha pitcher Kai Henry, in particular, had a standout performance. Josh Knowles snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-5 on the season. Hanke Breault suffered the loss. Carter Alberti was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

Omaha used a timely hit from Steve Hamilton to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Storm Chasers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Even if things get a little hairy, Kai trusts his ability," said Omaha manager Heath Chastain.

Even with the win, the Storm Chasers have a dismal 39-77 record.
