Round Rock shortstop Elwood Akehurst was instrumental in helping the Express triumph, 7-3, over the Sacramento River Cats. Akehurst went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The River Cats, now 55-59, have lost 5 in a row.
