Dell Diamond was the site of a tense game between the Round Rock Express and Honolulu ThunderSharks.

Honolulu starter Lucas Lundquist kept the Round Rock offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his sinker in leading the ThunderSharks to a 3-1 win. The winning pitcher was Lundquist, now 8-2. He tossed 5.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5.

Félix Naranjo had a direct impact on the outcome. Naranjo contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Honolulu up, 2-0.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Honolulu manager Neil Kuntz said.

The win puts Honolulu at 46-69.
