Cubs Lose Late to Sidewinders
The Sidewinders faced a stiff challenge from Iowa pitcher Jackson Baione, but persevered to claim a win at Greater Nevada Field. The final score was 1-0. Baione went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Tucson reliever Zac Power picked up the win, raising his record to 2-2. Benjamin Hullis was tagged with the loss. The Sidewinders improved their record to 56-57 with the win over Iowa.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Tucson third baseman Yorick Stephens, facing Benjamin Hullis, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Sidewinders the 1-0 win.

"This place was rockin'," Stephens said.
