With third baseman Chase Tuschhoff leading the charge, the Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes, 6-1, at Isotopes Park. Tuschhoff, who is tied for 6th in the PCL in hits with 114, was 2-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Shane Daksi earned the win for Tacoma. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 8-6. The Rainiers now have a mark of 71-41.

One pivotal at-bat came with no one out in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Albuquerque trailing 5-1, Pete Rivello needed to bear down against Jonas Aguillon. Rivello won the battle, as Aguillon struck out and the Rainiers went on to win.
