|
The Victoria HarbourCats picked up a win at Werner Park, knocking off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-3. On the mound for Victoria was right-hander Saul Byers. He played a key role in the triumph. Byers got the win, improving to 6-11. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Victorino Diaz got the save, his 8th in 9 chances.
Kent Enyard, who is tied for 9th in the PCL with a .480 slugging percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Enyard contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Victoria up, 4-0.
