First Lifts Ignition to 5-3 Win

PepsiCo Park was the site of a competitive game between the Baltimore Orioles and Indianapolis Ignition.
The Indianapolis Ignition stopped the Baltimore Orioles, 5-3, at PepsiCo Park. The Ignition got a big game from Alex First, who belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The third-place Ignition bumped their record to 28-25.
Mitchell Horne, who finished 4th in the AL in stolen bases with 55 last year, helped out the Indianapolis cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 3 with 2 singles.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Indianapolis manager Jay Duren.
