Ditka Shines in 11-6 Augusta Win
The Augusta GreenJackets topped the Lexington Legends by the score of 11-6, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Nicholas Ditka. Ditka went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the GreenJackets. Francisco Zamarripa earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 6-2. At 63-57, the GreenJackets claim 4th place in the South Atlantic League Carolina Division.
