Brent Glisson was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. The right fielder went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI for the Delmarva Shorebirds. Cody Niral, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. Delmarva sits in first place in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division at 71-47.

Delmarva used the timely hitting of Eli Cugno to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shorebirds on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Glisson said afterward that the win gets the team one step closer to its goal.
