Catfish Notch 4-1 Win Versus Suns
Kyle Tyler brought his A-game to help Columbus defeat the Hagerstown Suns, 4-1. Columbus, now 52-62, holds down 7th place in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division.

Sancho Menendez had a big 2-run home run for the Catfish in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Columbus leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a splitter from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Brady Hicks and punished it. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Catfish on top, 4-0.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Columbus manager Francisco Avalos. "It's usually not just one thing."
