The Rome Braves thumped the Greenville Drive, 10-0, at State Mutual Stadium. Lee Croft was a big reason his team got the win. Croft went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Rome is now 69-47, Greenville 38-78.

Croft had a key at-bat for Rome in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and gave Rome an early 2-0 lead.

Greenville manager Jaime Abalo said: "You try to find positives. We have to regroup and put this game behind us."
