Asheville Gets 4-0 Win Behind Lefty Valentine
The Asheville Tourists received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Matt Valentine, allowing them to shoot down the Rome Braves, 4-0. The Tourists move to 44-70 with the win, while the Braves drop to 62-52.

Asheville starter Matt Valentine was dynamite. The 6-foot-3 left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.

"Matt -- I just love the competitor in him," said Tourists manager Luciano Cole.
