Alexandria Aces starter Emerson Castillo hurled his team past the Tulsa Drillers, 4-2. Mal Radford nailed down his 21st save. With the win, the Aces improved to 49-58.

Alexandria took a 4-2 lead on Mario Yamagata's 13th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Tulsa pitcher Wit Webb in the top of the eighth.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Alexandria manager Bryan Dedmon.
