|
D.J. Argumedo pitched well, but the Frisco RoughRiders still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Alexandria Aces at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Alexandria reliever Owen Sylvia picked up the win, while D.J. Argumedo took the loss for Frisco. With the win, the Aces have a record of 56-50.
The Aces got a big at-bat from shortstop Terry Garvey. For the game, Garvey was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Alexandria a 3-2 lead.
"We're not gonna roll over for anyone," said Alexandria skipper Gil Mitchell.
