Victory Over Blue Wahoos Takes Montgomery to 66-42
The Montgomery Biscuits downed the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 8-5, the largest share of the credit belonging to catcher Jason Wright. On the day, Wright went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Biscuits. Montgomery reliever Jayden Bernstein picked up the win. Quinn Whitworth took the loss for Pensacola. Sánder Ramires earned his 35th save in 36 chances.

Howard Burns, who is tied for 4th in the SL in doubles with 26, helped out the Montgomery cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Wright.

The win puts Montgomery at 66-42 this season.
