A good time was had by all at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, where the Rocket City Trash Pandas and Frisco RoughRiders tangled.

In a low-scoring game between the Frisco RoughRiders and the Rocket City Trash Pandas, pitcher Perry Lawless was the difference-maker. The Frisco left-hander was tough as nails in the 3-1 RoughRiders win. The winning pitcher was Lawless, now 5-6. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3.

A.J. Palacios had a big run-scoring triple for the RoughRiders in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Frisco leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a sinker from Baron Brefka and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 5th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the RoughRiders ahead, 2-0.

"Perry kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said RoughRiders manager Wayne Dahl.

The RoughRiders saw their record improve to 45-57.
