Alexandria picked up a win at Blue Wahoos Stadium, bumping off the St. Petersburg Flying Squirrels, 6-4. Pitcher Jared Overstreet was a major reason the Aces emerged victorious. The winning pitcher was Overstreet, now 6-4. He tossed 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Today's win puts Alexandria at 60-41, while St. Petersburg falls to 53-48.

The Aces got a big at-bat from designated hitter Hunter Orne. For the game, Orne went 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Alexandria a 3-2 lead.
