Cubs Rally For Late Win Over Rainiers
The Iowa Cubs topped the Tacoma Rainiers, 4-3, in Pacific Coast League action at Cheney Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Iowa pitcher Ronnie Rembert. The 8th-place Cubs lifted their record to 43-62.

Iowa used the timely hitting of Yuvel León to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cubs on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Rembert said.
