Not everyone stuck through the 33-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Starting pitcher Brenden Labranche pitched well enough to help the Victoria HarbourCats beat the Iowa Cubs, 5-4. The Pacific Coast League Pacific Division-leading HarbourCats are 59-43.

Elijah Holmes helped out the Victoria cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

Victoria manager Joel Rose praised his team's "energy."
