Priester Pops Two Homers in 3-2 Win for Edmonton
The Edmonton Edge defeated the Round Rock Express by the score of 3-2. Stan Priester starred for Edmonton, going 3-for-3 with 2 home runs. Conlan Melton, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 4-3. Wayne Pomykal got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances.

Priester had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 sinker from Benjamin Kandell, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Edge a 3-1 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Priester.
