Darby Lifts Edge to 9-6 Win
Edmonton first baseman Tobias Darby had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Iowa Cubs, 9-6. Edmonton starter Gabriel Gener was credited with the win after throwing 100 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-3. Picking up the save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Shannan Cummins.

Edmonton used a clutch at-bat from Keith Hardison to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Edge ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I just try to be a dog, have good swings, good at-bats," said Hardison.

Edmonton now sports a record of 52-49.
