Tacoma Rainiers starter Elton Crouse pitched a good game to help his team take down the Albuquerque Isotopes, 4-1. The win belonged to Isaiah Carrasco in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Josh Gallagher took the loss for Albuquerque. Mick Jordan, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Alexander Allen came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Albuquerque pitcher Josh Gallagher, he hit a 0-2 cutter for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Tacoma on top, 3-1.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Crouse.

Tacoma goes to 53-47, Albuquerque to 48-52.
