Ronnie Salas led Honolulu to a win over Reno. The final score was 10-7. The third baseman had a huge performance. He whacked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Honolulu reliever Harry Pollitt picked up the win, while Matt Willard took the loss for Reno. Nick Jasso earned save number 7 this season.

Salas had a key at-bat in the top of the first to put Honolulu in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly off Reno pitcher Matt Willard.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Honolulu manager Jimmy Anderson. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."

With the win over Reno, the ThunderSharks improved to 48-49.
