The Evansville Triplets defeated the New Orleans Baby Cakes by the score of 7-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Zachariah Holley. Holley went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Triplets on the day. The Triplets are now 60-38.
With Evansville leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Holley hit a 2-run single off New Orleans hurler Regis Colmenero. It was the 31st hit of the season for Holley and put his team ahead, 4-0.
"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Holley told the Evansville Today.
