The Albuquerque Isotopes downed the Sacramento River Cats, 4-2, at River Cats Ballpark. The Isotopes were led by Brandon Brosnan. Brosnan went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jimmy Moore got the win, improving to 7-5. He held the River Cats to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Albuquerque bumps their record to 46-52 with the win.
Evan Mitchell had a direct impact on the outcome. Mitchell contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Albuquerque up, 4-2.
