London designated hitter Antony Olguin pounded Detroit Tigers pitchers at Kauffman Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Royals from falling, 13-4. Olguin hit 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Detroit bumps their record to 27-25 with the win.

Hudson Anderson had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the fifth for Detroit. With the bases loaded and the Tigers leading 4-3, he hit a sacrifice fly.
