Reno turned a good performance from starting pitcher Jack Mazzetti into a 7-0 triumph over the Omaha Storm Chasers at Blues Stadium. The winner was Mazzetti. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Steve Cheney. The Aces are now 48-47, while the Storm Chasers fall to 31-64.

The fans who came to support the Aces were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Blues Stadium.

"That was awesome. Really, really impressive, what Jack did," said Reno manager Ross Winfrey.
