The Oklahoma City Wranglers weathered a fine game by Winnipeg left fielder Jayden Betancourt to upend the Goldeyes, 6-5, at NBT Bank Stadium. Betancourt went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner was Oklahoma City reliever Alex Russell, now 1-0. The loser was Elwood Reitano. The save went to John Litz, his 25th this season.

Oklahoma City relied on the bat of Joshua Robertson to get the win. The first baseman ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wranglers ahead, 6-4. For the game, Robertson had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Winnipeg manager Baltemar De León.

Oklahoma City is now 56-38, Winnipeg 51-43.
