Wes Dempsey propelled his team to victory over the Winnipeg Goldeyes. The final score was 2-0, Omaha. At 34-57, the Storm Chasers are currently last in the Pacific Coast League American Divison.
The Storm Chasers got a big at-bat from left fielder Crow Trottier. For the game, Trottier was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Omaha a 2-0 lead.
"I know we have our doubters," said Winnipeg manager Brian Hotard. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
