The Sacramento River Cats knocked off the Reno Aces, 7-3, at River Cats Ballpark. Wally Neff hit 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 4 runs. Augie Finger snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-2 on the season. Yogi Bridges suffered the loss. Sacramento, at 44-41, sits in 5th place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.
With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the sixth, Neff had a key at-bat for Sacramento. With the bases loaded, Neff hit a 2-run single off Lindsey D'Arcy, making the score 4-2, River Cats.
"Good, blue-collar kind of win," said River Cats manager Adam Reid.
