66ers Even Record with 4-3 Victory

The Inland Empire 66ers defeated the Round Rock Express, 4-3, in Pacific Coast League action at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Inland Empire pitcher Matt Telecky had a standout performance. McKenzie Wilkins earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. The win makes Inland Empire 43-43.
Inland Empire took a 4-3 lead on Raffy Ortiz's 29th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Ortiz hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Round Rock pitcher Sean White visibly frustrated.
"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Telecky.
