The Round Rock Express sent the home crowd home ecstatic.
Round Rock Express starter Benjamin Kandell pitched a strong game against the Edmonton Edge at Dell Diamond, leading the Express to victory, 4-3. The winner was R.J. Rouse in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Jaylen Le Breton took the loss.
Jacob Sehlhorst was the walk-off hero for Round Rock. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Express first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Kandell called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
The Express now have a record of 45-41 with the win over Edmonton.
