Storm Chasers Pull Off Thrilling 8-6 Win in Extras
Werner Park was rocking after an exciting Storm Chasers win.

The Omaha Storm Chasers outlasted the Edmonton Edge, 8-6, in 12 innings. Omaha third baseman John Benavides stood out with his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The loss makes Edmonton 38-47.

The decisive blow was delivered by Patrick Pollack in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run home run off fireballing left-hander P.J. Klopper to win the game for Omaha. The home crowd went nuts.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Edmonton manager Aarón Lomeli.
