Angel Leads Wranglers to 9-7 Win Over Express
Oklahoma City designated hitter Bobby Angel played a vital role in his team's 9-7 conquest of Round Rock. He went 3-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City pitcher Gabe Mattox got the win. He's now 3-1. Ares Dussault was tagged with the loss. Samuel Abbott earned save number 17 this season.

The Express had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Wranglers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the former first round draft pick Lafayette Kaplan came to the plate. Kaplan hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 curveball from Round Rock hurler Ares Dussault. It was Kaplan's 3rd double of the year.

"Banging out wins is what it's all about," said Kaplan.

Oklahoma City is 7th in the Pacific Coast League American Divison with a record of 40-48.
