Richard Poyser propelled his team to victory over the Inland Empire 66ers. The final score was 8-2, Winnipeg. Thomas Brown recorded his 1st save for Winnipeg. The Goldeyes improved to 48-38.

Jayden Betancourt had a big 2-run double for the Goldeyes in the bottom of the second inning. With Winnipeg trailing 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from fan favorite Wilbert Newell and swatted a double to left. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Goldeyes ahead, 3-2.

"I thought we played a nice game," Poyser told the Winnipeg Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
