|
Rory Shape, who is tied for 3rd in the PCL with a 8.4 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Sacramento River Cats. The final score was 5-3, New Orleans. Picking up his 3rd save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Carter Alberti. The 6th-place River Cats dropped to 42-41.
Bray Pizer, who is tied for 7th in the PCL in hits with 93, helped out the New Orleans cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Shape.
