The Albuquerque Isotopes downed the Iowa Cubs, 1-0, at Principal Park. Albuquerque pitcher Herbert Foret had a scintillating performance. Albuquerque, now 40-44, holds down 6th place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.

Heath Carver, who is tied for 7th in the PCL with a .520 slugging percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Carver contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Albuquerque up, 1-0.
