Johnson Delivers 3-0 Win
|
Reno and Evansville duked it out and the Aces came out victorious.
The Reno Aces picked up a win at BB&T Stadium, taking down the Evansville Triplets, 3-0. Starting pitcher Lamarr Johnson was a big reason why. The 7th-place Aces go to 35-42.
Johnson was in the zone all game. He frustrated Evansville hitters while giving the Aces 7 innings of quality work. Johnson threw 96 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Johnson.
