Chihuahuas Deal Baby Cakes 5-2 Setback
|
The El Paso Chihuahuas picked up a win at Zephyr Field, knocking off the New Orleans Baby Cakes, 5-2. Starting pitcher Blaise Wilson was a big reason why. The Chihuahuas improve their record to 43-35 with the win over New Orleans.
El Paso relied on the hitting of Crow Trottier to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Chihuahuas on top, 5-0. For the game, Trottier had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Trottier.
