Losing Trend Continues for Reno
|
The Winnipeg Goldeyes picked up a win at Blues Stadium, knocking off the Reno Aces, 5-3. Starting pitcher Lindsey Ceballos was a big reason why. The slumping Aces have lost 6 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Winnipeg, had it not been for Jayden Betancourt, the 27-year old right fielder . Betancourt contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Winnipeg up, 3-0.
Betancourt said his team "executed a good game plan."
