The first-place Tacoma Rainiers took on the Winnipeg Goldeyes in front of a spirited crowd.
Tacoma center fielder Matt Walter Jr. was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 3 times for the Rainiers. The Rainiers have now won 6 straight.
Noah Quick helped out the Tacoma cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
