El Paso Charts 5-4 Win Over Omaha
Thanks in large part to center fielder Salvador Burbano, the El Paso Chihuahuas clipped the Omaha Storm Chasers, 5-4, in 13 innings. Burbano was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times. The win went to Mel Cepeda in relief, making him now 2-3. Royce Koudou took the loss for Omaha. The Chihuahuas saw their record improve to 33-42.

The Chihuahuas got a clutch hit from catcher Kaiden Murphree. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Chihuahuas.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Murphree, "one at-bat at a time."
